I just found this community and I am a big Bobby fan.  I just made my first icons.  I hope you like them.

Hi everyone, it's me again! ;) I've recently made a new batch of Bobby icons and thought I'd post them here. I've never actually posted icons in a community though so please go easy on me! ;-D

The rest are over here...

I also have a little icon community (18yellow_roses) where you can find all my other Bobby icons that I've made. All I ask is that you please credit me.

Hope you like them! :)

Hello everyone! I've been a member for quiet sometime but I keep forgetting to post. :/

This past weekend I got to go to Cleveland with some friends and we ended up getting to visit the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame!! I was blown away by all the artifacts they had their. Especially some of Bobby's things they had!! Has anyone else ever been there before? They had his accoustic guitar, one of his report cards, numerous albums, a Captain Newman M.D. script and the piano he wrote "Splish Splash" on. It was so neat to be standing infront of his accoustic guitar and that piano!! I still can't believe I got to see it! It was sort of funny because my friend and I were so excited over seeing Bobby's piano that we walked right passed John Lennon's piano without realizing it, lol. The only thing that could have made the experience better was if they'd have allowed cameras.

Anyway, I just had to share that with some people I thought might find it interesting. I don't have many Bobby fans on my flist, unfortunately. :(

Also, are there any rules about posting pictures and icons here?

Thanks for reading!

I watched "Mack is Back" last night, and everytime I do, I get a little sad. It was Bobby Darin's last recorded performance, and it's just so hard to believe that someone as energetic, charismatic, involved - just the consummate entertainer, was so sick and died so young.

He died nearly ten years before I was even born, but that doesn't mean I can't still miss him.

I just found this community and had to join. I think Bobby Darin is coolness personified.

Hey, everyone! I'm glad I found you guys. I'm a big fan of Bobby Darin's and I think this community is a great way to come together and celebrate this man's music and passion. He was amazing! I wrote my thoughts about Beyond the Sea starring Kevin Spacey here.

I also made this nifty banner. (every time you refresh the page, it says something different!) =D

I was thinking about this the other day while listening to Frank Sinatra's Version of New York, New York, the one Liza Minneli sang. I was thinking that if only Bobby Darin lived long enouhg to record that song! He would have done a FANTASTIC job.

So the topic starter is: What song that came out after Mr. Darin's tragic demise would you have loved to have seen him record?

Hey everyone! I'm new to this community, but not new to Mr. Darin. I have been an avid fan since I was 7 years old. I'm 18 and live in Texas. This community is so quiet, I thought maybe I could start a subject: What is your favorite Darin song? Why? How about favorite Darin movie?

I'll go first. My Favorite Darin song is a tie between More and The Good Life. I like to listen to More when I am feeling lovey and happy. The Good Life when I want a song that makes me want to get up and move to the music. My favorite Darin movie is If A Man Answers. I thought he put in a GENIOUS comic performance in that. It goes without saying that he was fantastic in Captain Newman, M.D. But I always thought his comic timing was right on and so perfect.
